Session Title

Communicating Socially Responsible Vision and Global Customer, Partner, Investor Evangelism

Abstract

A common limiting factor of entrepreneurial growth is the psychological categorization of customer, partner, and investor discourse.  Due to the proliferation of marketing technologies and power dynamics of venture capital, visionaries of innovative products and services have come to frame business interactions as specific sales, partnership, and fundraising opportunities, instead of receiving them as open opportunities for a diversity of stakeholder contributions.  The most successful TMT founders are people who deeply understand their own passions and have articulated a global vision for their fully realized venture.  They do not spend time or capital creating pitch decks, drafting business-plan iterations, managing search-engine presence, purchasing marketing partnerships, or soliciting investors because they 1) believe in a vision that addresses a fundamental human need, 2) can create the market for a multitude of products and services that further that vision, 3) are so good that their company can see indefinite organic growth, 4) will change the entire world when they realize their vision, and 5) can effectively communicate all of this to any audience, who in turn offer anything they can provide to help change the world with you.

My talk will address every striving or aspiring entrepreneur attending GMIC Beijing, to deliver immediately actionable insight on how to turn their team and business into a vision to change the world, and to onboard stakeholders of all shapes and sizes to make that happen.  Sub-topics will include customer-product development, core talent acquisition, and strategic investment/advisory.
